Riding holidays for riders with their own horses who want to explore
fabulous countryside.
You can trail ride from place to place
across Wales, a spectacular 5 day ride from the Welsh border to
the Welsh Coast, or ride in the Radnorshire hills from your base
at Brandy House Farm. The Brandy House is between Knighton and
Newtown on the Welsh/English Border.
Either way you will have a wonderful time
with your every need catered for.
We have for many years now been host to guests who come for B&B or
stay in our cottage and bring their horses with them.. we have always
been, and still are, happy to talk through the riding and help
guests plan their routes. We pride ourselves with the quality of
service that we provide and are now delighted to be able to offer
a more 'bespoke' service where we can guide you on a selection of the best
routes.
We know the country well and can share with you some of our great
riding. You will cover more distance if you are guided and see
more as route finding in these parts it not easy.........we suffer from
a lack of way-marking and thousands of acres of open country!!
Of course not everyone wants a guide but would like something more
than just a map and a compass. So on our holidays we are offering
a self-guided option in which case we are providing you with a marked map
and detailed route description. |

Ride Across Wales
From the English borders to the Welsh coast,
through the magnificent Cambrian Mountains and along parts of the
Glyndwr's Way and the Prince Llewellyn Ride this trip offers the
ultimate experience of riding approximately 70 miles across the
breadth of Wales.Beginning near Knighton on the English/Welsh
Border the route meanders over hills, through open moorland, rolling
farmland, woodland and the forests of Mid-Wales, and finishes on a
beach just north of Aberystwyth. It follows sections of the
Glyndwr's Way, parts of the BHS's Prince Llewellyn ride and sections
discovered by us. The route takes you through spectacular
scenery and uses permissive rights of way, forgotten bridle-paths,
open moorland crossings, old drovers trails and quiet country lanes.

Ride the Radnorshire Hills
Stay at the Brandy House and ride out and
back each day. There are miles and miles of bridleways and
open moorland just waiting to be explored. We have put
together a fabulous 4 days' (Two half days and two full
days) riding for you which shows you some of our best country.
You can of course ride for more
days if you want to or less.......there is a lifetime of
exploring to be done here so we will not run out of options!
We can be really flexible with riding from home and can tailor
the riding to suit your group.
We are currently developing some guided
place to place circular trail rides within the Radnorshire
Hills........so please contact us if you are interested.
We can put together a route to suit you depending on how many
days you would like to be riding for.
