Medina was a 'pony mad
kid' and had her first pony at the age of 12 who she had great
fun with.
As well as fitting in her
passion for horses she has worked as an Occupational Therapist
for 20 years. She left the NHS in 2006 so that she could
concentrate on developing things at The
Brandy House.
Her time is now split
between running the Brandy House with her husband Richard,
raising a family, and studying Parelli Natural Horsemanship.
Dusty, a 15.1
welsh/arab gelding, has been with her for 6 years and they are
playing in Level 3/4. He has really taken to his new job as
a guide horse and they are just having great fun together.

Karen has always loved
horses and has been riding since she was 11.
She left school to work
with horses and had jobs working on stud farms, with show ponies
and hunters.
In between bringing up a
family and working full time as a nurse she studied BHS stage
exams and achieved stage 11. She is now a Parelli Natural
Horsemanship student.
Mac and Karen have been
together since February 2009 and are developing a great
relationship. Mac has already demonstrated his ability as
a superb trail horse and his affable nature makes him a reliable
guide horse.
Karen has a passion for
the outdoors, enjoys mountain biking and walking and with her
husband, Richard, has cycled miles of the bridle-ways in
Mid-Wales.
