We have such a fabulous network of open
hills and bridle ways that it is possible to ride for days on
end. The Our local riding is 'second to
none'...though of course we are biased! You can ride for literally
hours, and quite possibly days without meeting a soul! There are miles and miles of
bridleways and open moorland just waiting to be explored. The
countryside is wild and unspoiled with abundant birds and other
wildlife.

All our rides on the network start at the
Brandy House near Knighton where
you can safely leave your vehicle and where we will talk through
the route with you. Please note that the mileages below
are for guidance only as it is sometimes necessary to re-route a
ride.

Fishpools Ride

Day 2 - 14.6 miles
This ride takes you from The Brandy House across unspoilt open
hills crossing the 5000 acre Beacon Hill Crown Estate Nature
Reserve You will use parts
of the Radnor Forest Ride (BHS Ride UK network) where it passes
the Rhiw Pool before descending to your nights accommodation at
Lower Fishpools where the ancient fishpools as yet un-restored
can be seen. The return journey takes you on a
different route across bridleways and tracks and to the summit of Beacon Hill
itself at 1700ft where on a clear day you have 360degree views to
the Brecon Beacons in the south, Cader Idris in the North and
the Long Mynd in the east before returning to the Brandy House.

Offa's Dyke Ride
|

3 days - 41 miles Day 1 - 14 miles
Day 2 - 13 miles
Day 3 - 14 miles
For riders who like to ride for between 4
and 5 hours a day. This ride takes you across the
beautiful Teme Valley into the Blue Remembered Hills where you
ride over rolling fields and along the Offa's Dyke where you
will see arguably some of the best preserved sections of this ancient
national treasure.
You start your ride from the Brandy House
and after your first days' ride will stay in an idyllic hill
side cottage beautifully restored with spectacular views
overlooking the valley and your ridge ride the next day.
Your 3rd night will be at a comfortable working farm on the
Offa's Dyke itself.

Radnor Forest Ride
|

3 days - 47 Miles
day 1 - 15.5 miles
day 2 - 17 miles
day 3 - 14.5 miles
This 3 day ride takes you over hills
and through some wonderful trails in the Radnor forest and
out on to the whimble and New Radnor the other side.
It is a perfect route for riding with your dogs as all the
accommodation we use is dog friendly. Your dogs will
have the finest of kennels and stables to sleep in... and
maybe allowed in by the fire if you are lucky!!
Of course it is just as spectacular a
ride with or without dogs so for those of you who want to
ride just a bit longer each day then this is the ride for
you.

Glyndwr's Way Ride

This ride is for those who like to ride a
greater distance each day. This ride covers 50 miles over
3 days.
Enjoy high ridges, breathtaking views and
long grassy slopes to gallop. It picks up parts of the Glyndwr's
Way, Prince Llewellyn Ride as well as giving riders a taste of
our own superb Cross Wales. Your
accommodation is a beautiful house and gardens where your hosts
have a passion for cooking, a fabulous B&B on the edge of the
Radnor Forest and an idyllic traditional farmhouse nestled into
the hills.

Kerry Ridgeway Ride

Ride through history on this four day
ride that takes you along the Kerry Ridgeway, an old roman road
with stunning views that reach as far as Snowdonia and some
wonderful sections of the Offa's Dyke.
You will ride under the famous and elegant
viaduct at Knuckles passing close to the site of Knucklas castle
where King Arthur is said to have married Guinevere
Your accommodation is in a striking house
with lovingly tended gardens, an idyllic traditional farmhouse
and a working farm.

traditional working farm, in a beautiful stone cottage, a
fabulous B&B and a wonderful secluded house in a stunning
setting.
