Our liability to you
We accept responsibility for
booking your accommodation (bed breakfast and evening meal) for
you and your group, and grazing or DIY stabling for your horses
as required.
We have taken all reasonable
steps to ensure that proper arrangements have been made for
accommodation for both you and your horses.
We have no direct control over
the accommodation suppliers and we do not accept liability for
their actions or omissions or of anyone employed by them.
We will provide you with a
written route guide and marked map if you are self guided, or
mounted guide for guided holidays.
The guide (guided holidays)
reserves the right to refuse to guide any persons or groups that
act in any way that constitutes unreasonable risk to themselves
or others within the group whilst on a ride.
Any expenses incurred shall be
the responsibility of the rider and no refund will be given for
the cancellation of any part of the holiday.
Your Horse Adventures will be in
no way responsible for any one on the guided route who choose to
leave the main party for whatever reason.
Should anything go wrong we are
in no case be liable for more than the total fee paid to Your
Horse Adventures.
Following the route
Your Horse Adventures assume you
are competent to follow route guides and read maps and take
bearings.
Your Horse Adventures does not
accept liability if you are late for your evening meal or fail
to turn up at your overnight stop.
It may be necessary to alter the
route due to fallen trees etc which would be beyond our control.
Where possible we will try to
inform you at the earliest opportunity.
Your Horse Adventures will
provide you with contact details for local farriers and vets in
case of unforeseen mishaps.
You are responsible for
arranging these services and financing your own transport should
you be unable to complete the holiday.
Contact details of accommodation
and transport will be given to you on commencement of your
holiday.
Your Responsibilities
Your horse and you need to be
fit enough to cope with a daily ride of between thirteen and
twenty miles over varied terrain.
You will be totally responsible
for the whole care of your horse throughout the holiday.
You will be expected to muck out
your own stable (where booked) or pooh pick your paddock at some
of the accommodation.
Your horse must be wormed and
vaccinated up to date for tetanus and equine influenza.
They will need their horse
passports.
Whether riding self-guided or
with a guide you will be expected to follow the country code.
Please have respect for the land you are riding over and your
host’s property that you are staying at.
Hard hats must be worn
conforming to BSEN1384 or PAS015
Dogs are only permitted by
prior arrangement.
Insurance
We accept booking on condition
that all riders and horses in the party are adequately insured
against third party risks.
Any vehicles should also be
insured against third party liabilities and are parked on the
premises at the owners risks.
We do not accept any liability
for loss damage or injury to you your horse personal effects or
tack however caused.
Customers need to be aware that
luggage may be left in unsecured places and they may wish to
take out their own insurance for this.
We reserve the right in any
circumstances to cancel your holiday. In this event we will
either return all money you have paid or offer an alternative
date. In the unlikely event that we have to change your
accommodation, we will let you know at the earliest opportunity.
A non returnable deposit of £100
is required with your booking form. (See cancellation policy)
Customers should be aware that
the number of persons within the package affects the cost per
person of their package. Therefore if after making the booking
number of persons is subsequently altered, then it may affect
the total cost per person
Should the variable costs of the
holiday increase then Your Horse Adventures will absorb the
first 2% of additional costs without any effect on the customer.
Cancellation Policy
If for any
reason you have to cancel your booking you are liable for either
the whole or a proportion of your holiday costs as below:

We
of course hope that you don’t have to cancel and recommend that
you take out holiday/travel insurance where you can just in
case.
Postponement.
If for any reason you have to postpone your holiday and you
re-book at the time of postponement with a further deposit for
future dates then you will not be liable for our cancellation
charges. |
