Testimonials

Dear Medina and Karen, at last a very belated but absolutely HUGE THANK YOU for the wonderful trip across Wales, It all feels like a long time ago now.............But I do want to say thank you. It was a really fabulous holiday , made perfect by the planning, attention to detail and excellent leadership that you both brought to it. I felt safe and cared for as well as challenged and respected. Thank you both hugely. It was wonderful to re-live it all with the photos. I like the ones with one black ear in them best and I loved remembering Karen peering back with a grin and a camera to get the shots of the back of the ride.....what a wonderful time. Did I say thank you? Ah well, I expect you guessed that is what I wanted to say. Bless you both and here's to the next time.

lots of love Viv (and thank you)

Place to place trail riding for you and your horse -About us

Your Horse Adventures was established in 2009 by Medina Brock and Karen Roberts. Karen and Medina have been riding the hills together for several years and share in their passion for exploring.

They like nothing better than to take to the hills for several hours (or days at a time!!) with their horses, a map, compass and saddle bags stashed with supplies!!  They are both really enthusiastic about Your Horse Adventures and look forward to meeting you and sharing with you some of the fabulous riding they have discovered.

They began to explore the Radnorshire hills together and after much hard work putting the route together and several attempts they rode the 80 miles from the Shropshire border to the West Coast of Wales.

With the possibility of riding for literally days in this superb riding country developing place to place trail riding holidays for people with their own horses was the logical next step. Amongst other skills that they shared was previous experience in the great outdoors as backpackers, travellers and mountain bikers (Karen!).  This meant they had the necessary navigation skills to route find and explore and develop safe yet challenging routes.

They are addicted to the hills and finding new routes which they develop on foot or with bikes and then test ride with the horses. These are constantly evolving and developing. They have an intimate knowledge of the Radnorshire Hills and routes across Mid-Wales hills and they now offer the opportunity to ride for days and weeks on end. Experienced trail riders that have map skills can ride self- guided with detailed map and route descriptions or they offer a guiding service.
